How Weducate came to be — and why it's built the way it is.

Co-Founder & Head of Economics & Business
Udit leads Weducate's Economics and Business department, bringing a practitioner's eye to subjects that are too often taught as pure theory. His sessions lean on real case studies and decision-making frameworks, built to make sure students can actually apply what they've learned — not just recall it for an exam.
As co-founder, Udit also oversees student operations, admissions guidance, and the growth of Weducate's three branches.
Rahul Sharma
Co-Founder & Head of Mathematics
Rahul began teaching IBDP and Cambridge Mathematics and Statistics in 2012, while still completing his final year of Electronics Engineering — a dual pursuit that never really ended. What started as a side passion turned into a career: he's since taught over 2,000 students, many of whom have gone on to Ivy League and other top global universities.
As co-founder of Weducate, Rahul leads the Math and Science department, combining an engineer's rigor with a genuine love for making statistics and math click for students who've often written themselves off as "not math people."
Outside the classroom, he's usually found at a poker table during tournament season, or watching Liverpool FC with the kind of loyalty that only a lifelong supporter understands.
Founded in 2014, on a simple conviction.
Weducate was founded in 2014 by two educators, Udit Kayal and Rahul Sharma, with a single vision — to give IBDP students access to genuinely top-quality coaching, not generic tuition loosely retrofitted to fit the syllabus.
Before writing a single lesson plan, they went back to the source — studying the IB’s own stated aims and assessment objectives for every subject, and building a teaching method around exactly what the Diploma Programme was designed to reward: depth of understanding, not memorised answers. That same research-first approach, refined over a decade, now underpins every subject we teach — in Mathematics, Economics, Physics and Business, a 7 is not an aspiration at Weducate, it is the standard we coach toward, subject by subject, student by student.
